Yeah, I would use a different theme for this blog.

Using two topics as themes creates a combination of the theme that makes it unique. Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert, said once that it is very difficult to be the best in the world at something, so it is better to be above average in two areas. My blog is green business, it’s not really a green blog or a business blog, it is a combination of both.

Just visited your site. It seems to load slowly although that may be my connection. You also have a lot of misspelled words in the text, may want to check the spelling and grammar. The layout itself is effective in my opinion.

I was going to put Adsense ads there originally. The theme I’m using has three widgets, and I have the search bar and the blog roll as the other two widgets. Might get rid of one or both of those and put more ads up now but there would still be a lot of white space. Is there a simple way to add support for more widgets to a theme?

Not surprised, these stories are a lot more unique than most of the writing at other places. They seem controversial enough to attract attention, too. Not sure how well a site like this would work with ads though, the readers may like it better than advertisers unless you find niche advertisers like independent bookstores.

I like the pictures and the overall layout, agree that an index and some more articles would be good.

That’s an interesting effect with the rings on the pad of paper. Like the snowflakes, you managed to use a special effect without it interfering with your text. It’s well designed.

I like the color scheme of this one. The black and orange background goes well with the gold colored bangles. Don’t know how to change the captions.

The pictures in your latest post are good, taking more of them would be helpful, I think.

I like the layout. it’s got an art deco feel to it, isn’t full of any unnecessary elements and still looks stylish.

whoa, those are some great pictures, that beats a lot of magazines I’ve seen. other poster was right though, they are all crowded together, doesn’t give the images individual space to stand out.

The images and the layout works very well. The articles are very interesting too. One drawback, seems like there are some grammar issues, might want to edit those.
