I will be happy to try to debug the problem with your plugin, but you are going to have to guide me through it. I don’t see how it is good business to leave at “we have never had this problem” and then do nothing. I don’t think it’s any incentive for anyone to buy your premium service.

Also, are we sure there is not an issue with the API # I am using?

I have version 5.3. I installed Historical Prices and during the install process got a notice that this plugin had not been tested with my current version of WP. Not sure if that even makes a difference.

I used the Historical Prices widget and installed it in my WP theme footer. Nothing happens. I will also note that I used the Stock Ticker widget to also install in my WP theme footer and nothing happens with the widget install.

I guess I could use the shortcode for the Historical Prices, but am thinking that it will not work either.

If the problem is not my WP version, is there a possibility of a conflict with another plugin? I have several plugins and am not sure how to test that without a lot of hassle (deactivating by trial and error). Or, could it be a resources issue? I have 28 plugins installed with Historical Prices now installed. Could that be robbing me of the resources I need to run this plugin? Thanks.

Okay Stockdio. I installed the “Simple Banner” plugin and it works. All it did was put a banner at the top of my website, where I can type in any message I want.

So, any ideas?

Looks like this plugin has been rendered useless. No response from author. Uninstalling and moving on.

I have read this post and am having the same problem: During the “fetch” I get the fatal error message after 5 stock symbols are handled. I am using version 3.0.5.4. I am also using the latest version of WordPress 5.0.2. I see where there is a note on the WP plugin page that you have not tested your latest version of Stock Ticker with WP 5.0.2. Please advise as to what I need to do to fix this issue. I suspect the issue is with AlphaAdvantage, as you have indicated above and not because I am running WP 5.0.2. Please advise if there is a fix. Regards-r

Yes, I have tried other plugins: same problem. I have already submitted a support request on this issue to the website and suggested the problem is on their side. This problem may need to be highlighted a little on your website so people know this can be an issue and not bother you with it? Thanks.

I guess you are saying there is no solution to this problem? Is it an issue with the website I am trying to display? Would contacting them about this issue be a possible avenue for a solution?

Well, this was the very first setting I used…it does not work. The width is still the same. Once you log into the database app, here is what the top part of the app page looks like:

Then scrolling down, where you have wider tables, this is what the lower part of the page looks like:

Its cutting tables off on the right because its not wide enough. Yes, I know the horizontal scroll bar takes care of that, but I really do need to have the full width of the page, which cuts down on the hassle of navigation. Thanks for anything you can come up with.

I used 5000 as an extreme to see if it would widen it. But it stays the same for anything greater than 1000. It will shorten if I use something like a value of 100.
