It’s mostly the case that I haven’t built from a blank page before. And whilst I’m open to buying a template, I’ve found they can be a little restrictive and you end up changing them anyway to suit your design. And have a lot of functionality you may not use.
I find that a lot of websites are image driven with either 1, 2 or 3 columns of text. Meaning the template showcase pages are mostly ideas on how a website could look?
I think a template is good if you like the look of a certain header and menu functionality. But assume it’s possible to be creative in page editors with header styles?
I’m relatively new to building these for people’s businesses, but have been producing print brochures for years! Am lacking some confidence…
