Thanks for following up… the website uses WP-Optimize and I played with the settings here based on your advice. It was the disabling of minification of JavaScript files that resolved the issue.

Thank you so much for looking at this for me and for your detailed response. None of the caching or minification settings have changed for years, so it surprises me that this is the cause. The form was working fine until recently. I will go through your recommendations in detail and see what I can achieve. I will also speak with our hosting support if required. Thanks again. GA4 permissions – I disconnected Analytics from Site Kit, then re-added the service with exactly the same account & property parameters and it just worked, so somehow it got into a jam, which is probably why the access request failed with an unknown error. All sorted now. Thanks again :).

Hi James, I’m getting the same error on a client site and I am the administrator of the website and the Google Site Kit (I installed it on the Site), I am also the Administrator of the GA4 property, and when I attempt to send an access request (to myself) from the GA4 account (re-directed from Site Kit’s “Request Access”), it shows an error sending the request (Error: Access request failed due to an unknown error). Are you able to shed some light on why this is happening? Should I try disconnecting and re-connecting?

Thanks for your question, it appears that the image sources were actually linked to the original staging sub-directory standalone site that I duplicated to create the main site of the multisite installation. I have since gone through and re-added all images on both the main site and the new cloned site using their media library.

What I would really love to achieve is for all sites within my multisite to use the primary media library as their source (/wp-content/uploads) rather than creating a new library source every time (/wp-content/uploads/sites/xx)…

I have exactly the same issue as @aromasdonna, Perfect clone however images on pages/posts showing as broken links instead of images… I saw this thread “Resolved” however did not see the fix here. Can you please help?
