    Hi
I have a long list of plugins so I have tried the ‘Deactivate All’ and just activated:
    Contact Form 7
    Flamingo
ReCaptcha v2 for Contact Form 7
    WP Mail logging

My test message then resulted in ‘Successful’ green bordered message.
I then activated ‘Elastic Email Subscribe Form’ which had to introduce some months ago to resolve another emailing problem. The result was that the error message appeared again but the message was delivered. Flamingo shows:
    o Spam
    * Not spam

I believe I need an SMTP email plugin but the problem is finding one that works with all plugins.
I will go without Elastic for the time being until I see what else fails. Your ideas will be welcomed.

    Hi

That part of the mail to I understand. The form works for me when I put a valid email address in that field.

However I am using a drop down menu, with ‘pipe’, to select recipient. The drop menu looks fine but I cannot understand the relative help pages (Drop down menu and pipe ‘|’) to get the recipient email address into the ‘mail to’ field. Snippet of menu code:
    “[select* menu-356 include_blank select-recipient “Chairman, Ian Stevenson |[email protected]” “Vice Chairman,& Librarian Maureen Wheeler|[email protected]” ….]”

The menu with pipe help page contains:
“To get the value after pipe character, put the usual mail tag corresponding to the form tag ([your-recipient] in the case of the above example) in the Mail templates. To get value before pipe, you can use [_raw_{field name}] ([_raw_your-recipient] in the case of the above example).”
However I try I cannot get away from the syntax error. An explicit example using my menu code above will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Roger

    I have the same problem:
Installation failed: Could not copy file. php-compatibility-checker/php52/vendor/squizlabs/php_codesniffer/CodeSniffer/Standards/Generic/Docs/CodeAnalysis/ForLoopShouldBeWhileLoopStandard.xml

Attempting to install on my staging site which has just been updated to WP 5.0.

    Guidance will be appreciated

Sorry about this, but I seem to have solved the problem. The ‘Enable Module’ button on the dashboard seems to have reset itself. I have now checked it and all seems ok.

    Things are working OK now

This was in an earlier reply but has now been removed:
    ‘questionabout wrote:

Did you guys “updated” the credentials in settings? I have latest version and it seems to be working fine, but I did have this issue on a previous version. It was resolved with just updating the API credentials, passwords on that page one more time’

All I have done is go to woocommerce/settings/API page and ‘save’ without making any changes. It would appear that the process is now working since on clicking ‘Go to PayPal’ I get a PayPal page rather the error message.
