One of the features mentioned in the plugin description page reads as follows:
“Sell tickets from a custom designed seating chart”
Do you use this feature and, if so, how easy is it to setup and use? Thanks for any info that you can give.
Thanks for your reply. I’m about to go on holiday so I won’t take any chances by updating again until I return. Further info on the problem for you:
The backend was more affected than the front end. The front end was noticeably slower but still usable most of the time. The back end was difficult to work on because connectivity was lost when any changes were attempted so even deleting the updated plugin files was made difficult and had to be tried several times before it was completely gone. The back end was affected in this way even when the plugin was deactivated. Once the lates version was deleted, the previous version uploaded and worked all without problems.
Can TT cope with seat selection plans?

In reply to: [StageShow] Invalid linksThere are two PDFs shipped with the plugin. They can be found in the folder stageshow/docs and are titled “StageShowHelp.pdf” and “StageShowUnification.pdf”

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Version 1.16.47Okay, I’ve looked at this with a fresh mind and I can see that I was being stupid – I had messed around with a staging site a couple of days ago and I’d left my FTP client inside the staging site so I was updating the plugin in the wrong place. All now sorted. Dunce hat on and standing in the corner for 30 minutes….

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Version 1.16.47Thanks for your response. I’ve looked in updraftplus.php and the version there is reported correctly. If I install this version on the site, it gets reported as 1.16.46 (on the Plugins page) and says that an update is available. I’ve just tried again……
However, I don’t believe they can handle reserved seating. Am I wrong?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] I don’t have “Add new” event in my WP adminI confirm that this update has fixed the problem for me. For some time, I’ve been continuing to use the last version that worked (5.0.1) but this update has now solved the issue. Thanks for your work on this matter.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] I don’t have “Add new” event in my WP adminI provided Brian with a backup of my site which was experiencing this problem in the hope that this would enable him to pinpoint the cause. The plugin still hasn’t been updated though so I’m assuming that solving this issue is not easy. In my case, deactivating and reactivating didn’t change the situation and all versions after 5.0.1 exhibit this problem.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] I don’t have “Add new” event in my WP adminMany others, including myself, have this problem and I’m amazed that the developers say that they cannot reproduce it. Rather than use v5.0.2.1 you will probably find that if you install (downgrade) v5.0.1 then the missing commands in the menu structure reappear.
Okay, thanks for your response, I’ll look into this to prevent the problems I’m having. Just one question: If I limit the number of revisions in this way, will it be self regulating? ie, once the max number is reached, will it add other revisions and delete the longest resident?
Thanks……………

In reply to: [Email Reminder] Not satsified at allThis plugin appears to have been left unsupported but it does work for me. I had to fiddle with some code to get it to display what I wanted in emails but it wasn’t much (can’t remember what it was now but I’ve got the details somewhere) and I’m certainly no coder. It certainly displays a list of what will be sent, and when. Under that list, it displays what has been sent in the past. I couldn’t find anything else that does this sort of thing. There’s a screen shot here:

In reply to: [StageShow] UPDATE FAILEDIf you go to https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/stageshow/advanced/ and scroll to the bottom of the page you can select any previous version to download. You will need to upload the file to your website manually via FTP and then activate it but it’s a simple process.

In reply to: [Ditty – Responsive News Tickers, Sliders, and Lists] Version 2.1.22It was the same with any browser and any machine so unlikely to be cache related. I waited all day and reinstalled and it’s now okay so the problem is resolved but the reason remains unknown. Thanks for your response anyway……….
