I thought Malcolm had rolled all versions out to public now (about 3 months ago) as he wasn’t going to develop any further but would continue to fix reported faults. Maybe I’m mistaken, I never got round to fully installing this.

Deactivate original Stageshow plugin through dashboard. Using FTP, rename the old installation (old-stageshow) and then transfer the unzipped folder into plugins folder. Back to dashboard and activate new version.

I found this the first time I used this plugin but it was because I had to hit the “Add Reminder” button when everything is complete as if I wanted to create the next one so perhaps you are making the same mistake………….?

I’ve nothing to do with StageShow except as a potential user but assuming that your timezone is UTC-4, have you tried resetting your timezone (WP Settings, General) to UTC and then back again? I can’t imagine that SS has it’s own time routines…….Otherwise Malcolm needs to answer this?

Just thought I’d post the fact that this issue seems to be solved now………..

My site is NOT hosted on www.ads-software.com but is hosted at 1and1. I have reverted to the true previous version 6.5.21 as it appeared I was also having some slow access issues in the main site but this may not be related. Currently working well with this version apart from the update flag. This is the only plugin that I have this issue with.

Me too. I’ve tried 3 times now, deleting the old version and loading the new one via FTP. WP4.7.3 The WP dasahboard reports that Flowplayer is still using the previous version.

Just thinking a bit more about this with ref to my previous question and taking Malcolm’s explanation literally, I think the above shows would be displayed like this:

SHOW B – Monday at 1930
SHOW B – Tuesday at 1430

SHOW A – Monday at 1430
SHOW A – Tuesday at 1930

I think this is something that I could live with but am I correct?

Malcolm, many thanks for your replies which are most useful although your answer (2) prompts a further question if I may:

With regard to the order of shows displayed in the Box Office output you say “At present shows are listed in order of the last performance date/time for each show”.

If I had a case of the following (best shown as an example) as we actually have had a situation similar to this during this week

Mon – Show “A” at 1430
Mon – Show “B” at 1930
Tue – Show “B” at 1430
Tue – Show “A” at 1930

Two shows with two performance times on two consecutive days but with different times on each day, how would the Box Office output to screen for each show?

I can confirm that this is working fine with the latest release of WP which is now 4.7.2 at the time of writing. Many thanks………….

Okay I’ve now added a line to my wp-config.php increasing the WP alocation to 256MB. I’ve just reactivated Wordfence and the site seems stable now. Thanks for your suggestion which I see is a common ocurence in WordPress. I will continue to monitor this………

Update to my last post which was a report on PHP Memory. WP_MEMORY_LIMIT is set to 40Mb so I’m looking to see where I increase that. Can’t see reference to it in the setup or ini files yet………
