In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Facebook Default Image not showingHi @kpariza
Thank you for reaching out, and sorry to hear that the image you’d like to see as the Facebook preview image isn’t appearing.
Have you set your desired image by going to Yoast SEO > Social > Facebook, or did you set it as the Facebook image under the Social tab in the Yoast SEO meta box?
We have checked your page and we are seeing this image. Have you added a different image, or is it the same?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Pagespeed decreases after installing yoast seo pluginHi @anujscanova
Thanks for reaching out, and we are sorry to hear that the page speed is getting decreased after installing the Yoast SEO plugin. We would like some more information.
1. Are you running the latest version of the Yoast SEO plugin(v19.6)?
2. Are all the non-Yoast plugins, themes and WordPress also updated?
3. Can you check if your website is meeting the necessary plugin requirements: https://yoast.com/help/plugin-requirements/. You can often find these details by going to Tools > Site Health > Info in WordPress.
4. Can you please confirm whether you have performed the SEO data optimization from the Yoast SEO → Tools page?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Display GIF as Facebook post link thumbnailHi @thevolpe12
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We would expect Yoast to output a gif image with the right tag for Facebook to use, but at this time, this feature is not available.
If both og:url and og:image tags are set to the GIF URL, normally, it is expected to work on Facebook. You could accomplish that in our plugin by doing the following workaround:
1. Select a GIF for Facebook in the social tab of the Yoast meta box. Our plugin will then output the GIF URL as og:image tag.
2. Changing the og:url tag to the GIF URL through thewpseo_opengraph_url
filter. You can find an example of the use of the relevant filter below.function change_og_url_example( $ogURL ) { if (is_single(32)) return 'https://urlofgif';} add_filter( 'wpseo_opengraph_url', 'change_og_url_example', 10, 2);
You can read more about this filter here: https://gist.github.com/amboutwe/811e92b11e5277977047d44ea81ee9d4. You might be able to use it to force Yoast to output a gif.
Unfortunately, there’s a difference between the support we can offer and the level of programming needed to change (core) features of our plugin. Since we don’t want to take the risk that we break your website by suggesting incorrect or incomplete code, we cannot advise you on how to make such changes. And even though we cannot be of any assistance, you’re completely free to change anything in the plugin to better suit your needs.
We highly recommend checking out our list of Yoast Partners here https://yoast.com/yoast-partners/ in case you are in need of development.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Woocommerce edit product very slowHi @herjafader
Thanks for reaching out, and we apologize for the difficulties the plugin is causing you.
5. If you go to Yoast SEO > General > Features, does turning any of them off improve the page load times?
6. On a post or page which is slowing down, if you check for JavaScript errors, do any appear on that page in the backend? Can you describe them or take a screenshot? If you are not sure how to look for JavaScript errors, please use this guide https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/.
You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.
7. Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty.
Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.
If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts
If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] How to Create Multilingual Yoast Description and Title?Hi @brvnbld
Thank you for reaching out.
If you are using a multilingual plugin, most of them create separate pages for each language, and you would be able to add the SEO title and description in the Yoast SEO meta box for each of the pages.
You can also learn more about Multilingual SEO here: https://yoast.com/tag/multilingual-seo/
We hope this helps.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Error parsing the response to JSON.Hi,
Thank you for sharing the errors from the debug.log file.
Looking at the details of the error you’ve sent us, we see that the problem seems to be related to the Semrush integration in Yoast SEO.
To check, please go to SEO > General > Integrations and turn Off the Semrush integration. Does the issue resolve? If so, turning the integration Off and then back On will clear the Semrush token.
Now that the token has been cleared, you’ll need to reconfigure the Semrush connection (if you wish to keep using the integration). You can find instructions on how to do so here: https://yoast.com/help/use-semrush-related-keyphrases-in-yoast-seo/

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] The meta description does not work everywhereHi @appscreen, Thanks for reaching out.
We understand that Google isn’t showing the meta description that you’ve selected. I’ve checked the source code of this page, and I can see that the Yoast SEO plugin is outputting the following meta description, and this is different from the meta description showing in the Google Search Results Page.
<meta name=”description” content=”Mietkautionsversicherung | Vorteile & Nachteile >> Hier finden Sie viele Informationen, die Sie über die Kautionsversicherung wissen müssen!” />
We would like to clarify that there are various reasons why Google is showing a different title or meta description on the search results. Perhaps Google’s cache of your site is outdated, or maybe Google just ignored what you created. If it’s Google’s cache and has your site set up in Google Search Console, you can force Google to re-crawl a page using the “Request Indexing” feature. You can use this feature to force Google’s index to update. Please follow the steps here: https://yoast.com/help/fetch-as-googlebot/.
We have more details and troubleshooting tips available in this guide: Google shows the wrong meta description for my site.
We hope this helps.

In reply to: Critical Error IssueHi,
This error will be most probably happening due to some compatibility issues with one of your plugins or your theme or maybe some missing PHP extensions.
I’ll suggest enabling WP_DEBUG so that you can know what is causing the error. You can refer to this documentation for more details on enabling the same: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug
