Since your site is Live and you have contents on your site, I suggest you manually delete unwanted pages one by one.

I have imported a demo site in a fresh installed site, and it only created a total of 5 pages and 72 posts.

I suggest you reset your site again and try importing the demo , you can also create a screen recording of the process so I investigate the issue.

It looks like you imported the demo content to a site which already had contents. The best way to import a demo is to import it in a fresh installed site. So, you only have the demo contents and pages.

You can use the WP Reset Plugin to reset your site and then import the demo again.

The search bar is added automatically added from the theme and it can’t be added again. I have forwarded this issue to our development team and they will make it available as a widget so you can it on your own.
