I think this is an issue with version 4.8 of WordPress. It used to work perfectly on my site and now I get that same error. The “Submit” button just doesn’t work and nothing happens.

I wish it was that easy. However, most of the times I tried it I was using incognito mode.

@geirrosset Good job, at least you found your own way to bypass it.
It won’t work for me though. I literally have no access to my own site. I don’t know what else to try.

@geirrosset Did you manage to solve the problem?? I have the same issue and I have tried EVERYTHING in every other topic in the forum. I still can’t get past the “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”.

Please, if you fixed it, let the community know, as there might be more people with the same problem.
