My issue is slightly different: The slideshow works, but only when the IP address is used. If I use the domain name (which resolves to the same IP Address), the slideshow doesn’t work…..
UPDATE: I am using the latest update from Jan 8, 2014
Any ideas?
I am having the same issue: Slideshow is not working.
Specifically, the slideshow works when you type in the IP address: https://204.197.253.145/~navyseal/
But the slide show does not work when you type in the domain: https://www.navysealmuseum.org
Also, I cannot upgrade to NextGen 2.X because, while it fixes this issue, it produces other issues which are worse. I am currently using NextGen 1.9.13.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I can’t update because NextGen 2.X is not fully compatible with Shopp. When I upgrade NextGen, it slows down our Museum Gift Shop unbelievably (taking about 2 minutes for each product to load). If you wanted, I can set it up so that you can reproduce this same result (e.g. you can see how quickly it loads now, and then I will upgrade NextGen so that you can verify the results.)
I have already spoken with the Shopp developers, and they isolated the issue to being with NextGen. Because of this, I am reaching out to you in order to help find a solution.

Unfortunately, I can’t even get started. The directions you sent refer to a setting under Gallery >> Other Options. However, this particular submenu does not exist for me. If you would like to provide me an email address, I can send you a screenshot. However, my options under Gallery are:
Overview
Add Gallery / Images
Manage Gallery
Album
Tags
Options
Style
Roles
About
Reset / UninstallI cannot find any reference to Lightbox at all under any of these menus. For your reference, I am using ver 1.9.13.

Thanks for the prompt response! I think you resolved at least part of the issue: we are using Shopp ver 1.2.9. Unfortunately, we can’t upgrade to Shopp 1.3. as it wrecks havoc on our site — and this is why I was investigating using Shopp Image Tools.
Do you know where I can get a copy of a previous version of Shopp Image Tools which would be compatible with my version of Shopp (1.2.9)?
