    {Resolved}

I retrieved the functions.php file and pasted the original code.
The earlier method of recovering by deleting the code doesnt work cos Im back-paging to revert to original.
File already saved once when clicking “Update File”.

    Thank you!

My questions is by changing the existing folder name with “-old” at end of the folder, you are saying by doing this will change to default theme automatically?

I have Filezilla. Never try changing theme from filezilla to switch themes. Usually through WP-admin page.

Now, I realized that I cannot even access to wp-login.php page. Nothing appear in my home page, either.

    @andrew Nevins,

Can you identify your theme here https://www.ads-software.com/themes/ ?

Andrew, you might have asked the right question. Making me wondering why it doesn’t appear in www.ads-software.com theme list. Searched everywhere, to no avail.
It wasn’t manual installed for this theme by myself. Theme was taken and automated install from www.ads-software.com.
Perhaps, too many years back, and theme could have been removed from .org due to my unawareness.
Interestingly, it still appears in author’s site with existing users.

I think, this is kinda awakening thought for me to renew theme every year.

    @ WPyogi

This suggests the theme has issues

    https://themes.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/7700

This theme was chosen because of its SEO-friendly.
I would not further wanting to solve the problem.
It seems redundant for me as a hobbyist, not so technically incline to coding.
Preferably, will consider changing new theme, instead.

If not other advice given, I would say thank you, and all helps herein have been great, indeed.

    Thank you,
    Edwin

Oh, both themes by Vladimir Prelovac.
    Blue Grace, V3.5
    Amazing Grace, V3.6
There have been around for some years.
Honestly, I considering changing new themes too.
But this is not the discussion of this topic.

that is also what I thought of initially. Isolate every plugins to narrow down the cause of problem.

Tried that tedious troubleshooting to solves other problems months back. Time-consuming, isn’t it?

I meant no offense, its not a bad method as mentioned.

But I’m looking for something more specific to resolve it. Or someone ever come across this problem might also advice.

    thank you.

Have tried to re-install the plugin before and even after deleting that post.
Seems like from some editing from phpMyAdmn. Not too sure on this area specifically.
    Pls help and advice.

    Many thanks.

    I have similar situation.

“Publish to fan page” has already link to my facebook, and selected the correct fanpage. However, the setting didn’t stay on, it just auto-disabled when I log out of my facebook.

    With facebook already log in.
    1) Click, “Link your Facebook account to your WordPress account to enable.”
    2) WordPress page refresh, Drop-down menu appear.
    3) Select from the drop-down menu to the fanpage. By default is “Disable”
    4) Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of wordpress page.

I have 4 blogs, 2 of them working well even without the need for facebook login. Made comparison of fb apps and wp pluging settings, I don’t see any differences. And it doing fine.

So I sure somewhere is not right.

    Thanks,

    Typo:
This has not* been occurring in my other wordpress domains.

I have resumed to the older version. 2.0.1. And everything is back to normal. HOwever, is still prompt for the upgrade on Secure WordPress plugin. I simply ignore it till further notice from the source.
Below is steps on how I resolved it:-

    1) Download the plugin to your desktop (Link given by beyercenter)
    2) https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/secure-wordpress/download/
    3) Login to your cPanel> File Manager, and direct to /public_html/wp-content/plugins/secure-wordpress
    4) Upload the Zipped folder from your desktop to the directory of #3) above.
    5) Unzip it into the same folder, and open it (/public_html/wp-content/plugins/secure-wordpres/secure-wordpres)
    6) Now, you have 2 similar folders for secure-wordpres.
    7) Move all the files from the Unzipped folders and overwrite to the upper leveled directory. i.e /public_html/wp-content/plugins/secure-wordpress
    8) It should work. If all is done, remember to delete/clean up the unnecessary Zipped file.

I got mine here, emphasizing on lightweight. Theme looks close to original p2, yet to tweak on the code.
