I tried different things now.
I’ve set the font size on mobile to 60% but it seems to show 100%.
I checked all images are the same size.
The background fill mode I’ve set to “fill” and now I can see a grey border above and below the images.

the language switcher is there in Elements now. So I’m confident that’s working. One thing I would like to test is about the location rules. If I insert a page in the first language this rule will automatically apply to the other languages (as it does for the Post IDs in WPSP).
My test site is too small for deeper testing. I would like to test it on my live site.
Just to be safe, if something should go wrong, how can I go back to 1.7.8?

I have just one more question about WPSP:
I made this request here about lining up title, image and text in a way that it looks equal and image not moved up and down depending of the number of rows of the title.
I had a look on the video of the pro version but I can’t figure out if this is available there because the sample titles are all short and on one row.
I tried to change title length of the pages and posts, but this has its limitations as sometimes there are long words, short words, German compound words, and depending on the browser width the line break is different. I started also to use ­ in titles :-). To explain it better, I prepared a screenshot

I confess, I have no idea. I tried to insert the code in functions.php child, but have not seen any change. What shall be the expected result? For now I’ve solved using simply “->” and in some cases I leave it empty.
I had a look into the string translation editor of Polylang and I found there is already a read more string by GPP, why don’t you use that?

In total, there are two GPP strings in the Polylang editor.

I know, Polylang talks little. I can try to make a request.
The only thing I observed is that Elements seems not to be seen as post type in WordPress. Screenshot But I have no idea if Polylang would then automatically add the language switcher to the editor.

in the meanwhile I played around a bit with the plugin. For now I’m changing the title length of post/page to have a more equal view. The excerpt length I managed with the “more” tag, but the problem is, that in the case of the more tag the 3 dots (…) are missing. Then I’m struggeling with other two things
(1) to define the sequence of the posts, let say I want to show the IDs in the sequence 1, 4, 3, 2 , how can I configure this.
(2) In a group of pages, I want to show on every page the posts of all other pages of the group. I the group is made of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, I’d like to define a list 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and exclude the actual page, means on page 1 is shown the list 2, 3, 4, 5 on page 2 the list 1, 3, 4, 5 and so on. How can I configure this. í tried the “exclude current” button, but it shows all 5 IDs.

Ehm, I looked on the docs at https://docs.wpshowposts.com/article/more-settings-overview/ and at “Post ID” is a link to https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Post_.26_Page_Parameters . I inserted a query like
$query = new WP_Query( array( ‘page_id’ => 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ) );
and had the reported result, one page missing.
Now I inserted the IDs only, as in your screenshot, and it works for me ??

I observe something similar. I have defined 4 ID’s and it shows 3. I have then added another ID and now it shows 4. In my case, the first ID of the query is not shown.

I think, the only way to solve this may be to give a onestar rating to the plugin. I made this five months ago and after four months I got at least a request from @lisaelementor if the problem is solved. So, if you face this problem too, rate it “*” and if there are enough people to do so, hopefully there may be finally a reaction from the developers.
The solutions is already described in the bottom of this thread, but must be implemented from Elementor, otherwise you must insert it again with every update.
