I had a look on your sample https://www.amphibiousmarinehovercraft.com/history/ and there is no text on hover. How have you done this?
On my page, https://www.tourist-in-rom.com/en/rc/st-peters-basilica-entrance-without-queues/, it shows the page title on hover. This is worse than showing nothing.

Oh, I see. Thank you @momo-fr for your help and the link. This is really bad. And the bug is there since a long time. Is there nobody in Elementor who understands the importance of this problem? If readers shall click on a link and a wrong text pops up, the widget is really useless. The widget is looking nice, has good image effects, but a wrong text at image hover is an absolut no go.
I think I have to look for an alternative if Elementor does not fix this bug.

thank you for your help.
I’ve checked this but Elementor cancels the title tag. I tried now to insert it manually with the wordpress editor, but then the Elementor page layout is lost. If I open the page then with Elementor and save it, the formatting is restored but the title tag is cancelled.
Is there a way to insert the title tag to survive with Elementor?

I have a multilingual environment (polylang) and the German part is working fine now (https://www.tourist-in-rom.com/de/*) but in the English part sharing sticks to one page. Actually it sticks to https://www.tourist-in-rom.com/en/2017/09/25/christmas-new-year-in-rome/ , yesterday it was another page. I cancelled the WP Fastest cache but no change. I tried also without browser cache and with different browsers, but the shared link remains everytime the same.
I’m using the floating interface and clicking on the right arrow it remains open and in addition appears the left arrow.

To explain better, I created 3 screenshots of the gallery management.

1.) Assignment of the english page to the gallery
2.) Assignment of the german page to the gallery
3.) Going back to the english page, the assignment has been lost after step 2), only the last assignment remains stored
I tried this several times, also changing first german then english, also in this case only the second assignment remains stored.
In this way, from the first page of the album in English clicking the icon of the gallery “porta portese” it links to the german page. From there you can via language selector choose the english page. On both pages the gallery is shown correct.

Hi, can you please explain how to enable in polylang. I can understand that I may create an event separate in every language. I’m using German as base language and Startdatum and Enddatum comes for Start date and end date. I tried to set the event in English and/or to set the page in English, but found no way to edit these terms and to change the language. In all pages I have Startdatum and Enddatum.

thank you for the fast reply. I’ve deactivated all the plugins beside
Child Theme Configurator Version 2.2.4.1
which I use to check the theme is properly working.
Activating Custom sidebars I received from Child Theme Configurator the same result as before:

I’m really sorry because I’ve seen configuration of the custom sidebars plugin is very comfortable.

I have the same problem: the search engine indexes the random posts shown by the widget and the outcome is a complete bullsh.. (sorry!) in the search results. Is there a way to solve this?

I updated some days ago and everything works fine. You may check if there is some other plugin not compatible with 4.7 messing up your installation.

I had the same problem with a child theme.
My problem was that I had plugins active not supporting the actual WP version.
I suppose, in my case it was the feedjit plugin.
