Removing which cache? There is cache on the webserver and browser cache.

With me the Yoast SEO plugin has been deactivated and has been removed from the website.

Is installation and activation of the previous version 0.29 possible without losing settings?

I use this plugin on IIS webserver. Taking a backup is fine. Downloading the backup fails. I get the message network failure.

I never had problems on Apache webserver.

The base permalink for products is present in WordPress due to the installation of Woocommerce.

Unfortunately the words product and product-category in the URL do not get translated with the Hyaan plugin.

On a webserver with PHP 7, this problem does not seem to appear any more.

I have this same issue. The attributes of a variable product and its adhering selection options are not editable and translatable, except of the default language.

All the pages of my website are broken. The sidebar is no more at the side, but at the bottom.
Moreover unwanted pictures from my uploads appear at all pages. These are the first picture of each gallery made by the webmaster. Please fix quickly.

Deactivating the plugin restores the website.

I use the BackWPup plugin. A backup with zip compression just gets blocked.
A backup with tar compression results in the error message: “the following names …. are too long to backup.” I have not tried any other plugin yet. Can you recommend me another free one?

I got a warning. The Nextgen Gallery plugin creates file names that are too long to save in Tar archive.

In some cases I noticed in Google Inspector substantially smaller files are loaded, but they are not physically stored on the webserver at the provider. I looked with Filezilla at the files on the webserver. Those images do not come from the cache either. ?? This was e.g. the case with images loaded in a Envira gallery.

There is a little issue remaining. I had a horizontal menu of language switching hyperlinks. Now, when the qTranslate plugin is installed, the menu has become vertical. All style characteristics of the menu have gone. In the original website the class qtrans_language_chooser was attributed to the ul wrapping the several languages, styling all the li elements.
This class become qtranxs_language_chooser and is still attributed to the ul, but its style characteristics are no longer implemented to the several li elements. This is a CSS question, but I have not figured out yet, what might be the cause of the failing implementation of the style.

Updating WordPress from 3.5 to 4.2 makes no difference for the style of the menu.
