bdbrown, thank you! I have to admit that by now I’m more confused than when I started, so I could use a bit more help. I searched for page-title pad in style.css, content.css, and some less obvious places, and could not find. Then, if I had found it, I wouldn’t be sure what to do with it. Do I delete that, or put display:none before the close bracket?? Sorry, I am not very knowledgeable.

I realized just now that the block, or banner, in question, shows the category of the post if it’s an individual post’s page, or on the home page, it seems to show my site’s name. I want to get rid of it on all pages. Any suggestions?

I want to leave my Maintenace Page up until I’ve resolved a number of other matters. Perhaps if someone could tell me what the area that on the Human page says “The Magazine: What’s New?” is called, I could find the answer on an already existing forum.
