Our web dev tried to disable the GTM plugin to no avail. We’re still not seeing ecommerce transactions being recorded in GA but ecomm-related events still are being recorded. They will now try to do the conflict check. I will update you of its results.

Thanks for being patient with us.

I did perform a test purchase today while recording everything by Tag Assistant. Although there are warnings there, I do not see any that might cause ecommerce tracking not to work. And yeah, that test I did not appear within GA’s ecomm tracking report. Ecomm-related event tracking appears within the report until Procced to Checkout then nothing else.

One question though, I noticed that there’s no transaction hit that fired on the Order confirmation page. Just pageview (screenshot). It’s that what’s causing this issue? For GA ecomm tracking that does not use plugins, that transaction hit is what’s needed for Ecomm tracking to work. Is that the same thing for woocommerce plugin? If so, then that explains why we’re not getting any data within ecomm report. I have the .harz file of the Tag Assistant recording. If you need it, let me know how I can send it to you.

Again thanks for all your help here. I wish we could resolve this issue. We’ve been using your plugins for a lot of our client’s websites and this is the first time we encounter this.

Hi Cara,

I really wanted to do that test but because the client can’t share test payment details, we are unable to do it with Tag Assistant recording all the processes. I thought something is wrong with the settings but I did go though the screenshot they shared and did not find any. It could really be due to some plugins interfering with the GA integration plugin so I’ll let the web dev know. I’ll let you know how it goes.
