Maybe I expressed myself wrong. Since WordPress 4.7 a preview image is added to every PDF file if ImageMagick is installed. This is done using the first page of the PDF document (cover). This can be retrieved with wp_get_attachment_image().
If I now specify a PDF file as cover, the image is output in the admin table, but nowhere else.
I use your plugin as a library for free books and so it would be nice if the cover would be printed everywhere without having to upload a cover each time.
