I found a way to resolve my problem!

Lots of stress without thinking first!!
Then just some seconds to think: mmmmhhh why? what I have done?
Then Chrome + Development Tool to inspect the page!
And the light: jetpack!! I made some changes without checking the effect on my site… i made these changes because it’s sounds fun!! ( I’m not a professionnal!)

the following option in Jetpack->Settings->Speed up your site:
-Serve images from our servers
-Lazy load images

Once i have inactivated these 2 options, then my page with Docxpresso works again!

update 1: on the page which is working, the images are not loaded anymore
update 2: 3 plugins have been updated today: simple Custom CSS & Js but i do not remember the 2 other ones

In fact, I found the solution by myself
I just have to improve my theme-CSS…
.container was not enough
I just replaced with #content > div.container.. and then, no conflict with the pluginCSS

Thanks for your answer. I was trying to avoid the The Flyout Menu, which is not so user-friendly when the list of items is long. That’s why I came to Max mega Menu.

I think I’ll keep the “Mega Menu” mode. And then remove my subitems. The user will have to visit the page for a parent item so he/she can access to the list of the subitems.
So, with just items without children, I simplyfy the way the “Mega Menu” is displayed.

That’s was a good idea to check with Chrome.
The behavior is OK on Chrome with the galaxy Tab. (yes it’s an old one ?? )

About a link to my site, nothing is ready to share… “still under construction” .. I still have lots of working hours before publishing.

When a bit further advanced in my work, I will test it (with mega menu – free licence) on desktop (IE, Chrome and Mozilla), Ipad ( Safari, Chrome),Galaxy Tab ( built in browser and Chrome), old Samsung mobile and a not so old Windows Phone. If any troubles, I’ll allow to come back to you for any remarks/comments

On megamenu.com, i do not have the same behavior but i still have troubles.
for example, the top “documentation” menu doesn’t open.
On the demo menu (menu items, widgets, flyout, icons, images), it works but with a big delay between the touch and the opening of the menu..
sometimes, the documentation page opens when I’m just interacting with the demo menu

(with the Ipad, no problem… it works perfect)

new remarks: the background image ( a half blue tablet) is fine on Ipad…. On the galaxy tab, i just see the central part… i do not see the left and right side.
From the left of the “M” in “menu items” and from the right of the Twitter icon, the background image is cutted

Is there no other option than just turn off the standard menu? From my side, I prefer to use it, more than the mobile menu. I prefer to see a page with the sticky standard menu than the mobile one… but this is a personnal point of view
By the way, thanks for taking time to read

PS: if you turn on the mobile menu, can I ask if you had time to fix the issue with items with children?

I found a solution to avoid the “scroll up to the top”…
Instead of using “#” for URL, i just use a URL which doesn’t exist on my site ( a one I’m sure it will never exist )…
and then some CSS to change the a:hover behavior: keep default cursor, keep same text color

But now, I have a new problem with this menu and I will open a new topic

I do not really understand why I should ask them? I’m just wondering about a display option..
We can imagine a single-language web site… with several pages with same title ( we allways can find good reasons for this ?? ). Then, in your custom menu, it’s still difficult to know which page to add because the Page Widget (the one use to add pages in a Custom Menu) just display page title… It could be nice to add more display options
Or maybe I’m just thinking wrong?
