    also, it worth warning folks. if you make the mistake of moving over a set of contacts and accidentally requesting an opt-in by your users, you can’t change this later. you won’t be able to go back later and automatically add them.

    Solved it on my own, using this prior post to help:

    I had the same problem, but only after I adjusted WordPress so that it worked from my domain’s root directory instead of the /wordpress subdirectory.

    So here’s how I fixed it. Open up users2csv.php and look at lines 227-233. Remove the text “<?php bloginfo(‘url’);?>/wp-admin/” from those lines. It now works for me.

    In my case I didn’t Remove the text I simply edited it to say “<?php bloginfo(‘url’);?>/wordpress/wp-admin/”

    This seems like a regular error. You might consider adding a notation to the ReadMe file for those that change the directory in which their wordpress files are located.

    Michael thanks. People need to know there are lots of plugins that are free, that can be installed alone.

    Its extremely dishonest to create a plugin then give the name of one that already exists that everyone thinks is free. And if it takes 3 service tickets and a post @ www.ads-software.com to get installation, that’s speaks volumes about the developer.

    If someone installs a plugin they will usually require both admin access and ftp access. (one for uploading, the other for activating, testing and customizing)

    But if someone has to deceive me to get my money – well, I don’t want them to have access to either.

    Rename your Commercial plugin.

    Ironically enough “connections” doesn’t work. Its control panel is better than “business directory” but it doesn’t actually work, which is pretty much the whole point. smh.

    not fixed
    =================

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in

    /html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/connections/connections.php on line 46

    Lypha users! I have issues. I can’t get Premium News Press to work properly. By FTP and CPanel I can’t get the directory to allowing writing while posting. (Which is essential for compressing and uploading photos for posts!)

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    I agree, your site can use some work. But in general, I like some of your commentary. I am a big MMA fan.
