In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] required feildI have this problem too. I changed required to ‘No’ and it works ok. However, unless it is fixed I will have to find another plugin. Had thought I’d go to VFB Pro, but not as long as this issue persists. I prefer not to go back to ver. 3.08 and hope site owner resolves it.

In reply to: Problem with two sites after 4.8 UpdateHi Jackie, thanks for the advice. Settings> Permalinks> Re-save has fixed the issue, though I’m not sure why it occurred in the first place.
You are a gem. If I should have any more problems can I contact you direct? and if so at what email address?
I am a rather old computer immigrant and welcome the support of skilled people. Hope your day’s going great.

In reply to: Problem with two sites after 4.8 UpdateHi Jackie,
Not been into settings > Permalinks but will do.
I don’t think the roadworks will affect us. They are about a mile away.
Thanks for your help greatly appreciated.

I will obtain the .htaccess file from the C Panel of Tasman Golf.
I appreciate your help as I am more a simple designer, and very little a developer.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] Can't add form from page with VFB icon.Interesting scenario. I have the same problem as AMBall, with a difference in that I have VFB working successfully on another WP site with CK Editor however, when I installed it on a new site with Plug In CK Editor for WP, I get the same problem as AMBall. I can create the form, save the form, see it listed as a form upload using short code but cannot install it into a post or a page using the pop up window “Insert Form” button. There are no error messages, I have plenty of cache memory, so nothing obvious can you please fix for me.

In reply to: Text editor doesn't open in upgrade to 3.5On upgrading to 3.5 I found my CK Editor 3.6.3 would not function. Deactivated it and the standard wp editor worked fine, re-activated CK Editor, didn’t work. Any thoughts on how I can get it to work?

In reply to: Can post revisions be archived?Hi esme, My temporary solution is to create an Archives menu with categories for the subjects I want to add to my archives. Then use a widget to load the menu onto the Footer under a heading Archives. Now I create new post each time with only the date as a title and add it to the appropriate category when it’s replaced. This seems to be working so far although a little convoluted. At least it buys me time to figure out another solution.

In reply to: Can post revisions be archived?Thank you again esmi, I’ll give that all a try and go from there. I really appreciate the time you’ve taken to help me.

In reply to: Can post revisions be archived?Hey thanks, that looks like the possible solution. It talks about creating new php files do I do this using a program like Text Wrangler, or Dreamweaver and add them via Filezilla or is there an easier way?

In reply to: Can post revisions be archived? Thanks for your offer esmi, I am not a programmer and coding is on my ‘to learn’ list so not yet can I either create a widget other than using the Theme Widget options in a plug-in, nor have I yet learned how to adjust, amend php to achieve what I want. Next course of study!! I had hoped there might be a simple way to achieve it but it looks as though I’ll have to go back to the drawing board. Maybe entering a fresh post each week adding the date to the title might allow existing Archive plug-ins to pick up, providing WP accepts such a minor change as a fresh post.

In reply to: Can post revisions be archived?I would like to have a Footer Widget showing “Archive” and have the revisions appear in date order on their own post or page.

In reply to: Can post revisions be archived? Thanks esmi, what I want is to provide the users with an archive of the post revisions, but it seems to me that all the archive plug-ins etc will only archive individual posts. On my site I have a Titled post page which has to be updated weekly. I understand I cannot re-post each week using the same title so have been revising the original post. Hence my question. If you have any ideas of how I can achieve the overall objective I’d be pleased to see them. Thanks.
