Forgive me ahead of time, WP sensei’s…all I’m trying to do is add a bunch of pages to my sidebar without having them defaulting under the stooooopid “Pages” heading. I need 10 different categories, some with a children, some with not. All need to be links that bring up that page’s content that can be added and modified as needed.

I assume this cannot be done through the “write page” option in the dash board; I don’t mind doing things by hand inside the sidebar php file; I just want to know if there is an easier way to automate this.

Ok. But how do you create a top level “parent” without it defaulting to the H2 tag “Pages”. For instance, in the sidebar, I want to List as a H2 heading, “Illinois”. Then under that the county child, “DuPage”. Then nested in that, a city called “Naperville”. How do I create that? Yes I read and got lost in the “template tags” thing and haven’t found anything anywhere in the codex.

Yea – what’s this protect ourselfs from ourselfs crap? I mean thanks for WP – I love it – and I would be happy to pay for it as well – but don’t act like we are all 3 year olds who need “watching over”…like who the hell are U guys!!!!

If we want to upload a big-ass picture then so be it – it’s my frickin’ blog!!! And get this, if some one sets up their own blog and manages it, don’t y’all think we can figure out what stupid picture we want to upload?
