I’m quite a newbie in this WordPress, thus I’m a little apprehensive about doing this switch. Is it possible to retain all the information and formatting regarding menus when I switch back and forth?

Below tags, I see excerpts instead of featured image. This is only for a few posts like “Trekking trip to Bhutan” and “Danube Cycle path: Linz to Vienna.” in most of the other posts, the option is visible and I have set the featured image, which can be seen in the website.

That did not help either. The option called “set featured image” is just not showing up. I had a blog on wordpress.com also with the same theme. There it is working fine. When I migrated to www.ads-software.com, I have started noticing these issues.

I have the jetpack plugin, but I cannot find blog stats feature.

Yes, you are right, there is no featured image in wordpress.com (prasadradhika.wordpress.com). But there is featured image appearing in www.ads-software.com (prasadradhika.in). I want the same feature, ie, I want to remove the featured image in the posts, but I want them to show up in the blog lists.
