Alright, so I tried uploading the contents of WP 3.7.1, including my personal edit of the wp-config.php. However, WP tells me that either the username and password information in the wp-config.php file is incorrect, or they can’t contact the database server at HostGator. However, my host’s database server isn’t down (checked that).

I am going to see if I can make another DB username and password and see if there are any results…

WP Opulus Theme Options >> Front Page >> Right Feature Column

Oddly, I thought to try your solution 2 before solution 1; solution 1 just seemed too easy. Solution 2 didn’t work for me so then I tried solution 1 and presto! I’m up and running. Thank you so much for the help. I am new to WP and to editing code. This successful little experience gave me a boost ??
