In reply to: I get this error when logging into WordPress…Ok. Remember, I can’t log in to the admin area, so it seems it would be hard to follow your directions. I of course have access to my web site files on the server..

In reply to: Why don't changes to my style.css file "register"?I know. You are right. I actually have started using the functions.php to incorporate the style sheets on another site.
But the problem still remains. I made your suggested changes by adding the “url”, parentheses, and theme name, but it still doesn’t translate to the front end. In other words, when I look at the style.css sheet on my server, the changes are there, just like I want it. But if I inspect the element in the browser, somehow the browser is using an old style sheet from a couple of days ago, and the background that people see is still red.

In reply to: Why don't changes to my style.css file "register"?yea, that didn’t work. I also just added a sentence within the comment section and you dont see that. The browswer (all browsers it seems) is for some reason using an old version of the style sheet.

In reply to: Why don't changes to my style.css file "register"?I just wrote them an email to find out. I have really done everything — cleared out my DNS, cleared browser data, and reset my router. The changes to the style.css still are not showing up.

In reply to: Name Servers will not route user to my website one Bluehost. There are two “wordpress.com” sites involved here.
Site 1 : Primary Domain is https://ryanscharferde.wordpress.com/ “Alternative” domain https://englischlernenmitryan.com. This alternative domain is not selected, but has the correct nameservers pointing to bluehost. https://ryanscharferde.wordpress.com/ is where I am taken when I type in https://www.englischlernenmitryan.com in the URL.
Site 2: This is actually my bluehost wordpress site that is somehow visible at wordpress.com Primary Domain is https://www.englischlernenmitryan.com. This has not edit button to edit the name servers.

In reply to: Name Servers will not route user to my website one Bluehost.I don’t know how that is working for you. I just tried with three devices – my laptop, tablet and cell phone. With all of them I am redirected to my wordpress.com site.

In reply to: Name Servers will not route user to my website one Bluehost.Update:
Sorry.
I made the wordpress site private. This means I can see it and others are getting the “too many redirects” error message I mentioned before.Forum: Themes and Templates
