You’re super correct. Disabling CleanTalk plugin removed the random numbers. Any ideas how to keep CleanTalk & still not have these numbers?

I believe when the plugin installs, it makes changes to some OS files like htaccess and maybe some WordPress sites.

1. I would like to learn which WP or OS files are edited by the plugin.

2. When uninstalling the plugin, do I need to manually remove those changes made by the plugin to OS or WP files?

This worked for me.

To restore my website, I had to deactivate the plugin by changing its folder name.
Now the plugin is showing as Inactive.

I fear the moment I activate it, it will break the website again.

How do I upgrade to version 2.0.1?
