I have the latest version of polylang and of all my pluggins and wordpress itself.

The only plugging that crashes my website is polylang, i have tryed deactivating them all.

I am using a static front page.

My polylang settings are as default except:
– Main Language: Spanish
– Detect browser language deactivated
(even though i chose that, the website that shows when i enter https://isabelvial.cl/wp_isa is https://isabelvial.cl/wp_isa/en/

Hi Marius, I am trying to do the same but with the seccond ribbon. I am changing the ribbon_with_right_button.php in my child theme.

Where it say:
echo ‘<section class=”purchase-now”>’;

I am writting this:
echo ‘<section class=”purchase-now” id=”ribbon”>’;

Tying to follow what was done in the previous case. But I haven’t been able to make it work. Do you have any reccomendations?

$tel_substr = preg_replace( ‘/[00]/’, ”, $tel_substr );

and

// change country area sign
$tel = preg_replace( ‘|^[+]|’, ‘+’, $tel );

Oh, and also when we try to call from the iphone, we are not able to because it changes the “+” to “00” so its not able to make the call. And now that i have seen it on the phone, the top bar is transparent… although its not so terrible for us. Do you think you could guide us into changing this problem of calling from the mobile?

Hi Alexandra, we were only able to fix the buttons issue, but not the most important problems with the backgrownd image. Do you think you can help us with that? I will re write the proble here:

I continue to have problems with the background image but i realized that it either has to do with finding the correct image in terms of size or with the responsiveness of the theme or with my inability to understand the real problem…maybe you can help me.

Even if I put an image with the recomended pixels of the Zerif Lite documentation (2048×1365), it appears much bigger so I can see it but like it was zoomed… I my child theme, I did a custom CCS the following:

body.custom-background {
    background-size: 100% auto !important;
}

With that i can se the image well in my PC, but when i look at the website in a tablet, other computer, my phone, etc… then i see gray areas below.

I now have eliminated the custom CSS written before.

I would like this image to look well in all platforms. Do you have any reccomendations? Maybe the kind of image or size or some custom CSS…

Hi Martin!! Thank you so much for your help!! It worked pretty well. We just had to adjust a few things:

1.- In the file class-speed-contact-bar-admin bith in the Admin and public folders we changed:

this:

$readjustments = array();
		foreach( range( 25, 75, 5 ) as $value ) {
			$readjustments[ $value ] = sprintf( '%dpx', $value );
		}

to this:

$readjustments = array();
		foreach( range( 0, 75, 1 ) as $value ) {
			$readjustments[ $value ] = sprintf( '%dpx', $value );
		}

So we could choose 0 in height readjustment for fixed position and so that the backgrownd picture wouldnt show when we chose the transparent backgrownd for the bar.

2.- We also adjusted in this files the padding so that they would start in 0. but we left them in 4.

We did all this because when we put the backgrownd of the bar light grey or white, the height of the bar looked to big in relationship to the size of the text… and covered the logo…

We are really greatefull for your help. Maybe you could consider changing this also, maybe it would be benefitial for other users.
