I’m having the same problem.

Setup is WordPress: 3.3.1
CF7DBExtension version: 2.2.5

After upgrading, the error I’m getting is:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in <path>/html/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7-to-database-extension/CF7DBPlugin.php on line 653

Have commented the code starting at 653, as suggested above- but not happy with the solution.

Any possible fix available to this?

I have the same question. This looks like a plugin which I would love to use except I cannot figure out how to use it based on the readme.

Where is members.php?
