In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] Attach to bottom of sticky header?Sorry for the late reply, I did not get a notification of your answer!
I would try #site-navigation first but that might not work at all.
Can you please send me a link to the (test) install, I have to check the elements while scrolling and resizing to see which element would work.
Hope to be able to help you, again sorry for the late reply I will watch this space now.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] Attach to bottom of sticky header?Hi @traveller22, thank you for reaching out to me, can you post a link to your site where the plugin is installed?
Usually I do it by right-clicking the header, choose ‘inspect’, then look in the code for a unique identifier (this can be an id or a combination of classes) that denotes the sticky part of the header. It can be some trial and error sometimes to get it right but I would be happy to take a look at your case.
Kind regards,

In reply to: [Each Domain a Page] Multisite in the future? There is a paid multisite version available as of now, contact me if you’re interested. The multisite version is different in that you have to add the domains on the settings page. You can then assign any slug (regular post or page) and it works the same from there. The canonical option is also implemented, but not the locales option (yet). It also has a domain ownership checking feature advantageous on a multisite install.
The multisite version can only work using the sunrise drop-in structure. It is developed together with an interested party and thoroughly tested, notably it is adapted to work with the WPMU domain mapping plugin and WP Rocket caching. This is also the reason it is paid: you will get support from me, we will get the plugin working well and fast on your specific install.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Each Domain a Page] Multisite in the future?I’m researching the options at the moment. As is this plugin cannot be adapted to multisite, I would have to make a different one.
Each-domain-a-page currently will point to the right canonical (the landing page domain name) (if you check the ‘canonical’ option in the settings) and also rewrite links throughout the WordPress installation to that domain name, this is to avoid the duplicate content problem. On the sites I have this plugin running on it works well SEO-wise, but not always, this also has to do with content and backlinks of course.
In a multisite version that functionality should also be included.
Will post here again when I know more regarding multisite.- This reply was modified 4 years, 2 months ago by Joeri van Veen.

In reply to: [Each Domain a Page] Multisite in the future?Hi rojokuze, I’d have to investigate a couple of things regarding multisite. Can you send me an e-mail with what you would like to achieve? I’m not sure I understand the use case. My e-mail is joeri-at-removethis-joerivanveen-dot-com

In reply to: [Each Domain a Page] joerivanveen.com/wordpresscoder-nl is brokenHi rojokuze, thank you for checking out my plugin. My blog resides in a subfolder, so the correct link would be: https://www.joerivanveen.com/blog/wordpresscoder-nl/
The preferred way to access that page would be : https://www.wordpresscoder.nl
That is also reflected in the Canonical property. Does this address your concern adequately? Can I ask, where did you find this url: joerivanveen.com/wordpresscoder-nl?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] FeedbackDear kellermandesign, thank you for bringing this to my attention so I could fix it, and thank you for working with me giving me access to your website. As you confirmed by e-mail the issue is fixed in version 1.3.5, so I will close this support case.
The positioning function is more accurate now in a variety of situations without being slowed down (if anything, it’s slightly faster now), so 1.3.5 is beneficial for everybody.
Kind regards and thank you for using my reading progress plugin,

In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] FeedbackHi @kellermandesign, can you provide a url of a page where the bar won’t start at 0 without the ‘whole page’ option checked? Unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce the issue with my own (test)websites.

In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] Feedback@kellermandesign thank you so much for taking the trouble of translating the plugin, really excited about that ??
Also thanks for your elaborate feedback. I have seen a couple of uses for the ‘whole page’ option indeed, so will keep it.
I understand what you mean with the bar not starting at 0%. Currently I’m on a short vacation, will look into it when I’m back. Will update this thread then.

In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] Enable option does not show under edit pageHi Barnabas1, I was just taking a look, good that you found the issue. The plugin indeed does not show the option if it is enabled for the page / post-type you are editing. I will mark this as resolved. Thank you for using my plugin!
Kind regards,

In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] Seen by admins but not by ordinary usersHello again,
I removed jQuery dependency entirely from the frontend, I had this planned already since it played only a very small part and only slowed down initialization.
You should find version 1.3.4 now in the WordPress plugin repository. You can safely upgrade your plugin to 1.3.4 or download that version.
Please let me know if this update indeed fixes your issue.Kind regards,

In reply to: [WP Reading Progress] Seen by admins but not by ordinary usersHi @wslizgiem, thank you for setting up the test site, I have found the problem. For some reason the jQuery library is not available on the pages where there is no reading progress bar. Of course the plugin states clearly it depends on this library as is required by WordPress, so it can be (pre)loaded, but I have seen problems with that earlier.
Please let me think of a quick fix or maybe a more thorough fix today, I will get back to you this weekend. Thank you for contacting me, probably more people have had this issue, thank you for giving me the chance to fix it now.Kind regards,
Joeri
