Solved. There was an issue using html minification. So check if you are using a plugin that allow this functionality.

I’m getting the same error and I’ve tried several solutions including the ones you wrote and I’ve also already checked for potential conflicts with other plugins. The download does not end and remains open a few bytes from the end.

the 818 is the form always used for the registration. The issue occurs only after the database update and I think is related with the user cache options.

Yes I do. With 3.6.2 version this issue does not occur.

I confirm that the best workaround for this is to create a snippet with this code:

    function login_error_message($error){

You can create a snippet with Code Snippets or add the code to the function file of your child theme.

The last one, the version 2.1.12 since the previous versions are totaly unsafe!

Hi again… thanks, with the development version the plugin works fine…! So… what do you think is better to do? Keep the previuos version 1.6.1 or this one?

…and the update/installation went fine, without errors…

I updated the plugin by the automatic wordpress updater. Now I have deleted it and reinstalled but still have the same issue. The website it’s a multisite wordpress installation and the plugin is network activated.
