Look, Just went though your video which I had to download (???), I read the entire page (https://maxgalleria.com/media-library-plus/), reinstalled it, ended up with a mess of other folders, that were completely unnecessary, tried moving the files around to one location so I can create my own folders and place my files the way I see fit for me, in my own website but couldn’t.

I’m sorry to say, this is really not what people are asking for when it comes to folder management. All they want is a plugin that lets you go into your media library, create a folder, and put whatever files they want in it. THAT’S ALL. No extra sub folders like dates, tags, or meta data … just SIMPLE. This is what your header says. (Easier file and folder management for WordPress Media Library for Galleries and Albums)

I’m sorry to say but my rating stands as is.

    To Jan Dembowski:
If any, I’ve been working on this for 6 days before writing my post and rating. I’ve even tried it again and again, did plenty of research, looked though other avenues, and have no problem, NOT ONE, to call myself out if I made any mistakes.

I WANT THIS TO BE CLEAR, I’m not out to “read” anyone, I just call it the way I see it and this opinion is mine only to own. Now if that offends some people, that’s their issue, not mine.

The reason why I went from HTML/CSS to wordpress, is so I can make it easier for me to keep track, update, and link to all my social media. And it’s the reason why a lot of people switch to wordpress. To make it easier to work their websites.

Now if it takes 4 to 6 actions to create 1 outcome, to me that is not productive. If that works for you, then great. I’m glad it does. But I refuse to change my views just because one feel it’s unjust.

The best to all of you, but after all the effort I’ve put in and all the other comments I’ve read, I personally will pass on this plugin, and can not recommend it.

Look, this wasn’t a “read” towards you … I’m just telling it as the way I experienced it. Now forgive me if this post hurts your feelings, it wasn’t my intention. All I did was say my truth, as I see it.

I did use the sync. In fact I read every info I could find, some from this site, and some from other sites. Even YouTube. (Which there’s not a lot of) And still once installed, I couldn’t access anything that was already in my media library. Even with sync. From what I saw, I had to re-upload everything in the site. (And that’s a lot)

Maybe if there were more simplified explanations on how to use it, or maybe a YouTube video done by you explaining in detail with visual for situations like mine or others. If you did that and put it on the download page, like:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/soliloquy-lite/

Then I promise to retract my statement personally with a post and raise the rating. In fact, if you tell me you will do that, I promise I’ll wait before looking for another plugin and try yours again.

Lets be honest the reason for WordPress is to help people create websites more quickly and easily. It should be the same for all the plugins that can come with it.

    Best,
    Rush

Actually, the only problem is Apple products.

It works fine on Chrome, FireFox, and IExplorer.

In iOS it plays on jPlayer, but when you press download, it opens page to play. In Safari, the player doesn’t work at all, and when you press download, it opens a popup window and plays.
