In reply to: [YOP Poll] Upgrade to 5.0, Poll Erased!Check to make sure you don’t have 2 YOP Poll plugins in your plugin list. Mine showed both the old 4.9.1 and 5.0, but nothing in the admin menu for either. So I left 5.0 alone and reactivated 4.9.1. I got access to my data back, but the polls obviously no longer work. You may be able to reclaim your data this way. Just to be sure though, I restored the plugins folder from a backup created yesterday (I create backups every day) and reactivated 4.9.1. Still won’t work, but I got the data. I then exported all logs and took screen shots of every single results page anticipating a long fix by YOP. I’ve been running a survey for more than 9 months and cannot afford to lose this data, so if you’re in the same boat keep looking for a workaround and you should be able to get your data back.

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Fatal Error? You can try returning to 4.9.1, but for me it did not work. Be prepared to see a lot of similar threads and comments today, as I suspect this is a plugin-wide problem. Bookmark this support thread and check back.

In reply to: [YOP Poll] Plugin Has Fatal Error after Update, No Longer WorksThanks, Caleyda. I am actually already using that version (4.9.1), I restored it manually after the fatal error today. However, the version no longer works correctly. It recovered all the data, but the button to get started is not functioning, rendering the poll useless…
(Also tried it in multiple browsers with no luck)

In reply to: Parse ErrorI just updated the Slick Quiz plugin on my site, https://marijuanagames.org, and it took my entire site down with the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/content/94/11903894/html/wp-content/plugins/slickquiz/slickquiz.php on line 97
This is really frustrating as I can’t get to the backend or the frontend of WordPress. Only resolve is a complete restore or deleting the plugin from your FTP or file manager.
Seriously, not cool.
