I re-installed the older version. Now after you asked for a linked to be able to show you the issue I removed it and installed the new one again. And it worked :-). Sorry for the confusion. I don’t really know why it did not work before – I spent almost 5 hours tracing what’s going on. But anyway – I am glad it’s working.

Thanks. The only suggestion I could make is to have multiple options what text to be displayed on mouse hover and not have the image title only, like the image caption or the alt text.

Regarding the image caption in Envira gallery – why don’t you use the metadata from the WP media gallery w/o copying it into your tables? This way the image metadata will be kept only in one place and any change will reflect all plug-ins that use it.

I was able to change the SMTP server I am using to send the e-mails and now most of those did NOT go to the spam :-). I think the reason e-mails were sent to the Spam folders was that the sending e-mail address set up in the notification did not match the SMTP.

I have read many articles about the spam filters before I submitted this post. And to answer your other question:

– I am using my gmail address for sending e-mails
– The e-mail contains very limited text and I think it does not contain any key words that may flag them as spams.

In some on-line e-mail providers it works if the sending e-mail address is added to the contact list, but not in all. Is there anything else that I should do to resolve this problem?

3. What text is displayed when on mouse hover over the thumbnail? Can this be something different than the image name?

1. Which text is displayed in the Lightbox? Can Envira use the caption and/or the alt text logged in the WP media library if images are loaded from there w/o the need to add them again in Envira?

2. In your albums demo I could not see a case where multiple galleries are displayed with their cover images and when click on any to display the thumbnails of the gallery images. Where can I see such demo?

I think what you can do is just query the WP media db table after images are selected and insert the new records in your tables with all the properties (including the location) w/o copying the images.

Does any of Envira Gallery edditions have functionality to display maps location on image level?

I know that. But my question was can I have the Albums feature ONLY w/o paying for Gold or Platinum? I do not want all the features they have and for me it is just a waste of money paying for something that I will never use.

Ok. But since I have all the images in the WP media library (incl. captions, name, etc.) what’s the best way to use the NextGen gallery w/o duplicating and entering all the captions again?

I know you can import. But the problem is not that images are not imported, but after the import they are duplicated. NextGen keeps images in a separate folder structure that the WP library and this causes the image files to be twice in WP. The question was – Can NextGen Gallery USE (not import) the images loaded in the WP media library w/o copying them in a new folder.

And Albums addon is included in the Gold and Platinum editions only, right? Is there a way I can get a lower end edition with Albums w/o all other addons?

I saw that, but what the plugin does, is – it copies the images. And my question is is it possible to use the image from the WP library w/o duplicating the files?

Is the price $19 annual or it is one time only?
