Yep, that was it. I had to manually update WordPress files to the latest version.

I found this article, which sounds like it is identical to the problem I am experiencing. I haven’t had the chance yet to apply this solution to my sites (life + a regular job getting in the way!) but I hope to give it a shot sometime this week when I have some free time.

Update: I “think” I’ve fixed my other page’s problem with the jetpack error. I regressed the php version back to 5.6 and was then able to gain access to my WordPress dashboard – which showed a failed update that needed to be run again. Page was ‘down for maintenance’ for a few minutes, but now it appears to be back up and running with :::knock on wood::: no problems (fingers crossed).

So I just have the remaining issue with my user.php that appears on my other pages’ login screens.

I’m sorry – yes that took care of the “share on Facebook” widget issue, eliminating that first portion of the error message – thank you; but I still have several other glitches preventing me from logging in to the site to make changes at my /wp-login.php page. I have several different subdomains – each with the exact same errors relating to my user.php file and then I have one other page with a completely different error relating to jetpack.

I am not tech savvy enough to know what I need to add/remove/change in my user.php code to make the browser happy and give me back access to login.

Rather than paste the full text errors here, is it okay to just provide the URL links?

Okay, step one done. It had been several years since I last accessed the site through FTP, so I first had to clear up the hiccups that FileZilla was tossing out at me, but I managed to figure that one out on my own and finally got in and got rid of the pesky share-on-facebook directory. (Thanks for the help, by the way)

Thanks, I think I may have found and eradicated it.

In your dashboard where you edit the pages’ content, do you see a box on the right edge titled “Page Attributes”? You should be able to assign each page a number and they should then appear on the menu bar from lowest to highest.

I concur with base007. I was trying to figure out how to do this for the past few weeks (see here). Unlike many on these boards, I know virtually nothing about coding outside of general html. It took me a few days of trial and error and re-reading this thread dozens of times to get everything set right. I think I am pretty close now, but I have an additional question or two that I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction.

(1) I have a conditional field in my form that requires a five character response entry. I’ve limited the text field to 5 characters maximum, but is there a way to mandate that 5 characters be entered and not 1-4?

(2) More of a formatting issue. I have a CAPTCHA field with a brief explanation under the text entry box. All of my other text entry explanations are neatly lined up underneath the text field, while the CAPTCHA explanation is left aligned and I cannot figure out how to line it up properly.

I found the solution I was looking for here. Not knowing anything about coding or jquery, it took me a few days and a lot of trial and error for the multiple levels of conditional fields to work the way I wanted them to. I still have a few kinks to iron out, but I will post my question in the above linked thread.

Resolved here I think. I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, but will do so later today.

Just throwing this line out one more time to see if I can get a bite.

@johansson if you figure out the multiple photo randomizer issue, please post the answer. I have a site using Twenty Eleven theme and want to accomplish this as well if possible.

I am interested in this as well as I have experienced the same issue. I don’t want to start a new thread for a question I am sure has been asked in the past, but cannot find an easy way to search for it.
