Sorry, while I’m here I actually have another question. Is there a way to change what comes up as the description when the website appears in the search engine? At the moment it reads ‘Ruth Stokes is proudly powered by WordPress and Clean News Theme by Code & Stuff. Entries (RSS) and Comments (RSS). | Valid XHTML.’ But obviously I’d like to do something a little more descriptive of what the site is about!!

Sorry to be a complete pain, but would I have to do a similar thing if I wanted to get the text into the middle? Again, when I try to move it using the margin the space I can write in gets compressed.

Awesome, thank you so much! Can’t believe how obvious these things seem once you know how…

On the second point – no that’s not it…sorry I didn’t explain myself very well.

I realise the links across the top are to pages and that’s fine and I don’t want to add posts. My problem is that whatever I’ve chosen as a name for that page also comes up as a header above the rest of the text in the actual body of the page. I was wondering if there is a way to stop this happening?
Does that make any more sense?
