Unfortunately we can’t answer the “how can” question. The FAQ has a link for “Design Principles and block design best practices” that leads to a 404. Just saying ??

Browsing a few more pages of reviews, I think it’s pretty much 1:6 ratio between “great” and “disaster” so apparently there is a (small) subset of the bloggers looking for something like this.
It would be interesting to see whether that separation is obvious from the type of blogs being done.
