Your problem is probably godaddy, which has the worst and slowest hosting ever. Try something like mediatemple.net for shared hosting. I’ve set up one of my WP sites there along with procdn and it is loading quickly even with large images (https://taptostart.com)
If you don’t want to do that then disable all your plugins and widgets and test from there. Plugins and widgets slow down everything. Try running your site through https://tools.pingdom.com/ and see where the slowdowns are.
