Hi Rob,
Thank you for coming back to me. However, sorry to have troubled you on this but it is now working. I suspect the problem was due to an incompatibility/problem with another plugin as other updates were now available, updated those and now – it works!
Good news. Keep up the great work.

In reply to: [Sticky Menu & Sticky Header] Not detecting footerI found a previous support query relating to a menu appearing on the left and how it jumped to the right, just as this problem displays with legacy support disabled and you remarked that there was no solution.
Therefore I think that it is an unresolvable conflict between left hand sidebar and element detection.
Due to this I have had to find an alternative solution but keep up the great work.
I can’t remove this post so I will simply mark as resolved.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Multiple file uploads Failed to send your messageThank you, I will investigate that likelihood further.
After further investigation it is unlikely to be Varnish as it is a cache for delivering web content and doesn’t affect POST.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Multiple file uploads Failed to send your messageThank you for your prompt reply.
PHP wasn’t logging, but it is now.
With debugging enabled in wp-config.php, an error is logged: PHP Notice: wpcf7_add_shortcode is deprecated since Contact Form 7 version 4.6! Use wpcf7_add_form_tag instead. in /…/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/functions.php on line 351
I do not believe this is related to the problem though as even with debugging disabled, there is no error reported in the php error log but the problem still occurs.Having thought of and checked everything the only other thing I can think to mention is that we are using Varnish web cache on our server. Could this be the problem?

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache and Theme IssuesHi Destac,
That’s it!
With the minify module enabled the problem occurs. With it disabled it’s fine.
Well done and thank you.

In reply to: [Waving Portfolio] Change path from /waving/ to /portfolio/Hi Aelbuni,
Thank you for your reply and my apologies for the delay in coming back to you but I was working on another project.
Whilst you can embed the portfolio in a page, you can also visit the project pages to view like a blog, i.e.
https://bluesky.rawdemo.co.uk/waving/
You can then select the projects to go view them, but you will notice that the path says /waving/. I’d like to change this to /portfolio/ because this is what we are calling on the site itself so it will make more sense to the visitor.
Thanks
Rob
That’s brilliant thank you, that makes the menu work perfectly.
Interestingly, these two lines are part of the standard Twenty Eleven stylesheet. Removing them doesn’t seem to cause a problem with the main twenty eleven theme and they do resolve the problem.
Thanks again, great plugin, great support.
Rob
Hi,
Thank you, that’s very helpful.
Regards,
Rob
I’m having the same problem too.
My support request has not been responded to and I can’t get a reply from the developer either. It’s such a shame as I am going to have to look for a replacement module at this rate.

In reply to: [Redirection] Having a problem with redirects in pathsHi,
I believe I have found a bug.
The module description states ‘All URLs can be redirected, not just ones that don’t exist’ but I have just proven that if a page exists it will use that and ignore the redirection.
Using the above example you would visit this page and it would show the original HTML page. I then renamed the HTML page and then the redirection starts working.
https://www.compass-travel.co.uk/timetables/service_769.html
This is the original renamed page.
https://www.compass-travel.co.uk/timetables/service_769.old.html
I haven’t been able to see anything in the configuration about ignoring existing pages so I presume this is a bug.
It would be great if the module could cope with this so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

In reply to: [Redirection] Redirection is not workingHi,
I tried it today and it’s working.
I have no idea why it shouldn’t be working yesterday and then working this morning but it is. I wish I could explain why but at least it is working.
Thanks
Rob
