It is not my comments section. They are all protected by everything you suggest.

It is my user registration process. I get this type of user registration often. They register on my site as subscribers.

New User Registration on your site:
Teaching Strategies for Relief Teaching.
Username: Breelafar
Firstname: Breelafar
Email: (Example) junk email address goes here with a ru prefix
IP Address: 222.169.60.2
Password: 1jBb34pvhZ

I don’t want to discourage user registration by legitimate users. I know I can delete them in the USER directory but I was just wondering if there is any way to stop them at the registration process. I assume they are robotic registrations rather than real people.

Thanks marvipons but that only affects the editing of the page.

It doesn’t impact the page on the site.

I would like to disable comments from the page on site so that readers can not comment just on THAT PAGE.

Eg I have JOIN NOW page to which I do not want comments added. But I can’t find how to turn it off.

Interesting Jennifer. I maintained my post data but lost my all time data. Annoying but not disastrous.

True. I deactivated and reactivated the plug in. I lost the post data but the plug in works fine now and I don’t get the error message. Go figure!

It seems the problems was the wp popular post plug in.

When deactivated the problem disappeared.

I am not sure what that means. I doubt it. Check it out at https://www.reliefteaching.com

I have thanks Dre400. I solved the problem by making changes manually rather than going through the plug in. Works fine now.

FOUND IT – It is an option in the POST menu.

I did – can’t find anything. I’m sure in the PRIVACY setting there was button on the top right hand corner where you could change the setting from public to private. I set it to private during construction – but I can’t find that button again to go public.
