I just want to front journal page to look like it does in the demo with the sidebar

Tried setting up a page and setting the layout and then setting it to the posts page on the reading option in settings but that seemed to break the thing again.

The blog should be the home page and the sidebar was showing before, but I think in a prior update it has disappeared.

Thanks for the reply. I don’t actually have a homepage set up because it’s just using the default “Your latest posts” option. Should I create a homepage then?

I’m now trying to get deviantart icon to show up, but not sure what to put in the :before content part?

I tried using the unicode: f1bd, but it’s not working

We’ve contacted the host, but could you explain why you’d say it’s a hosting issue? It doesn’t look like it at all since the wordpress login page is loading and my friend is able to log into the wordpress dashboard, but I’m not?

Using WordPress as a URL shortener will send URLs to Twitter in the default URL format for WordPress: https://domain.com/wpdir/?p=123

So we get the above link instead of: https://domain.com/2012/02/a-big-long-title-for-my-link-here/
