I ran the Sucuri scan which showed there there is a malware infection. I am also running a Malwarebytes scan on my computer which now shows at least one object detected that wasn’t there previously (I scan periodically). I have also cleared my browsing history and cookies, and changed my ‘admin’ password to my WordPress control panel. Do these steps help at all?

I have taken a look at those resources provided and am quite overwhelmed. I have no idea what my next steps should be in order to resolve this issue.

Should I go into my WordPress dashboard and ‘re-install’ WordPress? By doing so, will I lose all website data?

As for the custom CSS option or child theme, I am unsure. Still very new to all of this. But I do see a style.css, would that indicate that this has a child theme?

Nothing under their support topics, and I am having trouble contacting them through their site. Am I just out of luck until I get a hold of Photocrati?

I believe with my issue, I missed a simple step. I do not remember exactly, but have you tried going to the plugins section through the control panel, deactivating nextgen, then delete?

would it be recommended to attempt to reset or uninstall and reinstall the plugin?
