Thank you. I have read that and aware of the implications that this might cause. Since the mail is being sent to the email server I administer with From from a different domain I don’t think that spam will be an issue. I have since “resolved” this by using WordPress’s method of sending mail instead of through WP SMTP which was needed prior to using my own email server.

Apparently this never worked and I believe this is because I use GMail’s SMTP server for outgoing mail. I guess I’ll have to figure something else out on how to make replying to these emails more effective.

I understand its purpose, but why do I need 1000s of copies of the exact same entry? When you have 10s of thousands posts just from the feeds alone these hashes makes the database extremely large for no reason. It makes absolutely no sense. If the hash doesn’t change, why does it need to be added again? There is no difference whatsoever to the key from different updates. So, it’s just wasted space.

Surely I’m not the only one with this issue. Is the plugin author not monitoring these forums? My database is a disaster from constant cleanup of revisions and the syndication_item_hash key. Is there another plugin that does the same thing as this one and doesn’t suffer from the same problems? My site depends on and was built around this plugin so without it this particular site would not exist.

So far works as it did in 3.9.2.

Admin Panel -> Syndication -> Posts & Links -> Comments & Pings. Set it to “Don’t Allow”. Not sure if it’ll remove the link, but shouldn’t allow comments, as I don’t use this setting.

I know this post is 3 months old, but I’m also requesting this. With over 2000 users, it’s not easy to go through the entire list to view their activity.

I’m also noticing this issue as well as it’s not sorting as expected. It is acting like I’m sorting the names instead of the dates. This was the reason for using this plugin.

The widget also went blank for me after the update. However, after logging out and logging back in, all the links re-appeared.

No errors or warnings on the 2.6.1 update. Thanks!

My host is using 5.3.15 and my local Ubuntu test server is using 5.4.6. The error would only appear in /wp-admin. I also reverted back on my production server and the error went away.

EDIT: I just tested it on my test server and the warning appears at the top of every page in /wp-admin. Making any changes causes “Headers already sent” and the page fails to load.

I’m getting it too, and it’s causing problems while posting articles due to “Headers already sent”.
