You can simply use a shortcode for displaying your calendar on your specific page. The shortcode is [calpress cat=1,2,3] where 1, 2, and 3 are category event ids.

Actually, you can change colors in the large calendar too via CSS just add a !important rule to every css rules you are going to make.
Yes. This is absolutely true. We have predefined themes as well which you can select at the CalPress Settings area. However, if you want to further customized it, all you have to do is put all your CSS inside your current theme style.css and add a !important rule to it. This will override every css rule from the Calpress default value.
We suggest also to use a browser plugin for Fireforx which is (Firebug), install it so that you will be able to see the exact class and id for a certain element coming from the CalPress calendar.
