Had my wife check in Firefox… it’s working fine.

Only way I ever fixed it was by turning the visual editor off completely. (done on a per-user basis in the “users” tab)

Themes are handled entirely separatley from posts, categories, etc (which stay put in a database) and can be swapped out at your discretion

Hrm, hard to say without more info.

Is the grayform theme a new one, or have you been using it a while.

Also, have you made any changes to your blog/site since widgets were last working properly?

I’m not entirely sure if this is up to date for the latest version, but here’s the most newcomer-friendly tutorial I was able to find:

However, unless you’re comfortable working with CSS and/or PHP, I’d start with downloading a pre-made theme with a lefthand sidebar before trying to DIY.

You should be able to go into your wp-content/plugins folder and just remove the filenames associated with the plugin (they tend to be well organized).

Just a guess, but I had similar issues when I had visual editor enabled. Lots of my coded formatting would be gone every time I went in to edit entries (because even though you can switch to code mode, it defaults on visual)

Go into your user profile, and uncheck “use the visual editor when writing”. Granted, if you like the visual editor, this may not be a good option, but if you prefer to use code, this will lead to far fewer unknown hiccups in my experience.

That’s kind of the thought process I was going through.

Again, if there are any integrated WP ways of doing this, I’m all ears.. but the RSS path is probably what I’ll be testing.
