I finally got this problem solved myself due to websta’s older post above. I’m with Phoenix based Crystaltech(.com) hosting; on a Windows Shared and simply navigated to my webcontrolcenter (cpanel) and located my ‘file permissions’ setting the wanted fparent folders to ‘write’ and things worked fine… You can not change the permissions in FTP agaent or other means only through their controlpanel. Hope that helps other crystaltech.com hosted site.
