I created my own USPS business account and switched to that API and it is working again. So I do believe the expired SSL on the WooCommerce.com site was the issue. Just FYI.

I have the same problem with version 9.4.0. I started a support thread last week and it appears to have been deleted, unresolved. Please help.

After a bit more troubleshooting, I discovered it plays the sound on every page load when there are no chat agents online. So, the issue appears to be happening when the bubble loads in the offline message state.

    Thanks

P.S. It has been annoying customers :-/

ALso, I notice my older test emails that were working have a “Downloads” section that lists the purchased files with links to the download files. This section is followed by the “Order” section that details the purchase.

The latest emails do not have this “downloads section” included. Just the Order section.

@mattdallan It seems to be different behavior since I used to only see the PayPal checkout button and not the black debit/credit card button at all. The black button appeared after the update.

The black debit card button would be fine if it opened in a window like the paypal button does to enter card and billing info, rather than generate a new form on my checkout page. As I mentioned, the form is truncated by the sticky sidebar so aside from the first line, it can’t be filled out.

I just updated to v2.0.2 but get the same results.

I don’t see anything in the settings to remove it. Is it possible to have the PayPal checkout button and not the Debit card button as before?

Also, I notice some odd behaviors when checking some of the button settings. I don’t know if this is how it’s intended to work:

With “Enable the PayPal Mark on regular checkout” checked (on), and “Configure settings specific to regular checkout” unchecked (off), I get the blue PayPal Credit button (for paying on a paypal credit account) by default, but the black debit button is gone.

But, when I open the “configure settings specific to regular checkout”, the check box for PayPal Credit is unchecked (set to off), and the black Debit button shows up again. If I manually check the Credit Button option, the black goes away, and the blue credit appears.

So, I’m forced to have the PayPal Checkout button with either the black Debit button, or the Blue PayPal Credit button, but can’t display it by itself. I just want my solitary PayPal Checkout button back..haha.

    Thanks for your help.

UPDATE: After about 20 hours or so, I checked and everything is now working correctly. Maybe it just took some time. I had cleared my cache including cookies etc. last night with no success. But, today it’s working.

I hope my experience helps someone with the same issue.
