We are a digital magazine.

Situation: We have to gather 60 posts to display a custom sidebar. And then after sometime, return those posts back to the main sidebar. Our current theme requires us to open each post and manually change it to the sidebar we want. We want to bulk select & change those posts to the NEW sidebar, and then change them back when the ads expire.

I don’t doubt you sir. All we did was rename the old one and we just dropped the new plugin folder in the file manager and the site immediately crashed.?

We’ve done this many times. With no such results. But because we run ads of course I had to get the site back up and running quickly. Our hosting tech took care of it.?

Hi Spacetime

(see video) When I click on it it usually drops down a search field and content list I can chose from to add to or to subtract from. That does not happen any longer. I have to look up the post ID and place it manually. [Video Toggle not working ]

The video shows me clicking on the post/page Id button with no results. But it will work on others. Always worked no problem.

Also when I click on the post ID button this does happen, it just spins to no end [video Only Spins when Clicked ]

All our posts are just regular run of the mill post. Nothing custom about them. Oh sorry the sonoma posts are live and can be found using the search option as the image shows, but I will include a path next time.

I think me using the term “page” threw you off. I meant a search result. I understood that checking the search option on a block meant that it would show up on that search related to that content.

Here is what we have for a site wide leaderboard 728×90. And after adding these exceptions —the front page banner disappears. We don’t see how this has reached its character limit. Can you point me in the right direction? Here is a screen shot of our homepage settings.

Is this zip version that you included a link to —is this a different version from the one that can be currently downloaded from the wordpress plugin page? Is this a special version?

Thank you, we don’t understand how the software could have blocked our own front page, that makes no sense. We will read your links. I certainly hope that when we purchase this we will get more comprehensive customer support than the free version.

Hi Spacetime

Is there a Blacklisted List? Is there a more elegant way to make exceptions to manage ads that you prescribe with this plugin? Sometimes we only want certain ads to appear on certain pages, categories or stories. There has got to be a way to cross check what has been done before. so that exceptions don’t overwhelm the system. Do you have a best practices guidelines?

Block 6 and 8 are not inserted as they are blacklisted for specific post ISs and it looks like your theme returns one of these IDs for the homepage.

No thank you, we are good with error scripts. But thank you for offering one.

What we had to do was make a quick fix separate block for the front page leaderboard and a separate block for the front footer to fix this. Hopefully there will be a solution forthcoming to this error.

Hi forum open to try any solution to solve this. If anyone has had this problem or something similar I’m open to hearing what you did.
