he might need to do that in php.ini, also it might not work if server admin/hosting company, doesn’t allow it.

try to talk to your hosting company, ask them to check if different ip address than yours access your cpanel.

also as a precaution, change passwords for your site,cpanel,db.

You need to export the posts pages and all that stuff from your wordpress, that’s how you can restore it to wordpress.com

Try to use wamp server on your local machine and then put the backup as you would on a normal web hosting.

Then once everything is all up and working export in wp-admin everything and import it in your wordpress.com account.

i didn’t change anything except index.php to wp.php

Future updates might change the index file, so before applying an upgrade the webstore index.php file should be changed to something until you finished the upgrade.

Look, I installed phpbb forum and installed wordpress to check and see.
I named wordpress index.php file to wp.php
It seems to work.

Good thing about WordPress is that everything branded with wp at the start of the file or folder.

You might wanna try this out…

lbout, the problem might be directory level.

Try to point to the dirctory.

Lets say, your domain is abc.com and you installed it in a folder called /blog

you need to access it through abc.com/blog.

Let me know if this isn’t it.

you can through cpanel make xuz.com directoy another one, this way the 2 domains don’t get conflicted.
