Margaret, thank you for that suggestion. Here is the paste of the WooCommerce Status: https://pastebin.com/VUJCSzC5
@rainfallnixfig , I’ve enabled debug logging on the server, so next time it happens I’ll share anything related. Do you have a way for me to send you the System Report privately? Thank you!
Thanks for the reply and suggestion. After looking closer I discovered the videos in question were unrelated to the Embed Plus Plugin. So I am closing this issue. Thank you very much.
I just noticed the plugin was also still activated in Archives. (Ironically when I tried to bulk deactivate this plugin for Archives and Terms Archives, it said “Done.” but the bulk deactivation did not go through – seems like an another unrelated bug).
Jose,
Yes I have been updating the plugin and it is already 1.8.9.0.4. While it does not show in the plugins page, it is still active and I am still able to update it from the updates page.
I tried the code you provided at the end of wp-config.php. In both cases, there was no noticeable change to FDP or any other plugins while loading the plugins page.
Would it help you in troubleshooting to have temporary admin access to the staging website?
Thank you!
Jose, Yes it is a strange issue! I took your advice and from the plugins.php page I ran the supplied jquery in the console. The result is: 0
p.s. I am sorry again for the delay. For some reason I did not get the notification email. I’ll try to check back more often this time.
Hello Jose,
Oops, I lost track of this thread!
I tried your suggestions and it FDP plugin is still not showing on the plugins page. (it is still active and available from the admin menu)
I had disabled FDP in role settings for some other admins, not myself though. I re-enabled them and saved. Still no change.
I tried the code you provided. FDP does not appear in the plugins list. However, a plugin does appear where I might expect FDP to be alphabetically. The plugin shows as deactivated (white background with activate link) and the name and description is simply “h”. But even though it appears deactivated it has a settings link. When I hover the settings link it appears to be for another plugin that we have installed. And if I hover over check for updates, the link is for yet another plugin.
Very strange!
Finally, no there are no constants beginning with EOS_DP_ or FDP_ in wp_config.php.
Hi Jose, yes you are correct, only the first sub menu item did not work. In that case I did not try the other links. OK, now that I know, it is not a problem. I should have looked further ??
Yes, it is working again with the latest update. The query monitor conflict also appears to be resolved. Great thank you!
This problem is occurring again. This time I made sure I am not currently editing the page in another tab. However, I was previously editing the page in another tab. I don’t know if that matters, but I closed that tab, refreshed the matrix, changed the lock setting and saved, but the lock settings do not save.
I am using firefox and I have the number of pages set to 109. I don’t know if either matters. I have been working in the Singles -> Pages today, and earlier the lock setting was saving. Now when I just worked on two new rows the lock setting did not save. When I refresh the page it is unlocked again. But all the disable checkboxes did save. I have to go edit the page to apply the lock.
Yes, both the main plugin and the MU version are 1.8.8.8.3
It says no plugins are disabled.
For clarification: I disabled plugins on the “global” Post Types -> Products, but this troubleshooting is from an individual product on Singles -> Products, where I did not make any overrides (there is no question mark on the Post Types -> Products screen)
Actually the issue is still there, I just have to scroll down further and I see the Query Monitor data far down the page.
Great, much better! Thanks for the quick fix ??
Perfect! Much better ?? I also am really liking the cross hairs. It makes everything much easier on the eyes.
