In reply to: Site crashes in IEHi,
I deactivated all plugins as a first point of troubleshooting, nothing changed.Good suggestion, switching to the default theme stopped the IE crashes, the crash logs didnt really give much away
Ive narrowed it down to the background image, as removing this allows the site to be accessed without any crashes etc, Ill update to confirm if this solves the issue
Thanks for your response

In reply to: Images not loading externallyOk so I fixed this by doing the following;
I solved the issue for https://www.goddardpark-pri.swindon.sch.uk; this was due to webserver is trying to resolve the domain on its public IP address instead of internal ip. This will be denied by ASA, so that to rectify this I have pointed internal dns for the https://www.goddardpark-pri.swindon.sch.uk towards 10.74.202.*
I changed the dns record of https://www.goddardpark.co.uk towards CNAME pointing to https://www.goddardpark-pri.swindon.sch.uk instead of current A record.
Voila all working except in IE which I have posted a fresh thread about!

In reply to: Joomla to WordPress?Hi,
I looked into doing this and found that it was easier just to back up the content of my old site and transfer to my new site. As it was my first WP install I preferred to build this from the ground up and learn the menu structure, how things work etc.Dependent on your directory structure I suppose you could replicate your joomla structure into WP and populate the appropriate corresponding folders however this could also depend on what version of joomla/theme and WP/theme.
Have a look here, there is also tons of info on google just search “export joomla to wordpress’
For ratings plugins, there are loads available personally Ive only played with this one but it seems to tick all the boxes
Hope this helps

In reply to: Images not loading externallyHi,
Thanks for the reply!Ive run the validation tool numerous times throughout trying to troubleshoot this issue and the number of warnings has not changed etc so im not sure if some of the errors are theme related?
As mentioned I seem able to add a new image into post or into a page however the featured content items simply will not display….hope that makes sense!
